San Bernardino High School Class of 1958

Our new web site now has information on our 50th Class Reunion. Please go here www.sbhsclassof58.org.
Welcome to the Class of 1958's web page. A class of 724 young men and women waiting to make their mark on society, their country and the world. Considered by many alumni to be the best class this institution of learning has molded, and in many respects, we believe we were. Our classmates have accomplished many of their goals since graduation, and have traveled and lived in many out of the way places in the world.
We've become distinguished attorneys, teachers, doctors of medicine
and philosophy, engineers, scientists, and even one is a member of the U.S. Arms Control
and Disarmament Agency. Not to mention, mothers, fathers, grandparents and great
grandparents. We're collectors of Harley-Davidson Motor Cycles, Classic Corvettes
and fond memories.
50th - In 2008 our class will celebrate its
fiftieth reunion. As of yet, there are no plans, and since it's a few
years off, would you like to do something spectacular? Got an idea?
Most of us will be retired by then and with lots of time on our hands. Our
children should be supporting us by this time and we can spend their
money the way they spent ours! Right? Well maybe not. In any
case, let me know your thoughts and maybe, just maybe your idea will be
selected. You wont win anything except the admiration of your classmates.
Ken
PS: Please check our missing lists and let's find as many of our
classmates as we can...thanks
45th - Our forty-fifth class gathering was an informal one and again held at the Arrowhead Country Club in October of 2003. We celebrated our 45th graduation anniversary with fanfare and sadness. That was the night of the horrific fires in San Bernardino, San Diego and else where in Southern California. Talk about smoke filled rooms! All-in-all, despite the anguish of many, we celebrated those that attended, those that could not and, of course, those whom we'll not see again. We raised our glasses and gave a toast to life and to our classmates.
Pictures and some information on our 45th... Enjoy.
40th - Our fortieth anniversary gathering as a class was October 1998 and by far the best yet. We say "yet" because we'll be around for many more. Many spent two unforgettable days reminiscing and, of course, eating pizza at the Mug, and toasting each other at our formal gathering held at the Arrowhead Country Club. We gathered to renew friendships, meet new brides and grooms and pay our respects to those who we will not see or hear from again, except in our prayers and hearts. Our class is smaller now but never more determined to continue to make its mark on this world.

Can you believe our beloved
sign is still there after all these years! It's been moved back to its
original spot in front of the campus.

...and our school looked like this at one time. Remember having lunch on the front lawns and dogging that famous "flying fruit"?
